Understood

Have you ever thought of the stars having a voice? Or the moon? Or the sun? I have. Kind of an amazing thought to think that those kinds of things can actually talk! And the whole planet can understand what they are saying, no matter what language us humans speak.

Understood
Psalm 19:1-6

Creation shown
as the stars declare His glory.
Creation shown
as the sun illuminates His majesty.
Creation shown
as the moon adorns His greatness.
Every tribe, tongue, and nation
has seen His splendor in the sky.
From generation to generation,
the Creation of God
glows in the night and in the day.

The heavens declare it,
the skies proclaim it.
Day after day they pour forth
His words.
Night after night
they display knowledge of
their God.
Their is no language
their voice is
not understood or heard.
Their words spread
to all the Earth
proclaiming God’s Creation.

Living Waters

Living Waters
Isaiah 55:1

Come ye to the waters,
the Living Waters of God.
The Waters bring new life;
you will thirst no more.

Come ye to the waters,
the Living Waters of God.
The Waters will restore –
make you anew.

Drink in goodness.
Drink in God’s love.
Drink in forgiveness.
Drink in God’s grace.
Drink in cleansing.
Drink in God’s hope.
Drink in renewal.
Drink in God’s peace.

Thirst no more.

Come ye to the waters,
the Living Waters of God.

Dream

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to fly? Have you ever suddenly started to fly in your dreams? I have! This poem reminds me of such a thing as well as the scripture verse Isaiah 40:31 – But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint. So next time you fly in your dreams, enjoy! And when you are wide awake, and your hope is in the Lord, you will soar! You are an eagle!

Dream

Looking above
in a beautiful
dream
as the eagle soars
high above the mountains –
hoping and longing,
wishing and praying
that is beautiful
dream
would never end.
