The Spring

The Spring

The spring bubbles up
from a valley found
deep in a
towering
mountain range,
bringing with it
fresh, clear water –
nectar from God.

The spring is small
and seems to be overpowered,
surrounded
by the cliffs and rocks
of the towering
mountain range.

The spring continues
to bubble up
from the valley,
bringing with it
fresh, clear water –
nectar from God.

The spring won’t
be small for long, surrounded and
overpowered
by the cliffs and rocks
of the towering
mountain range.

The spring’s source
will still bubble
up from the valley,
bringing with it
fresh, clear water –
nectar from God.

The spring will turn
into something
massive, and powerful.
The spring will soon
be an ocean.

The Robin

The Robin

Your voice is so clear,
Robin of the Spring.
You greet the early morning –
it awakes as you sing.

A flute so sweet and melodic
being the early dawn’s song;
Your voice resounds above others –
its beauty sweet and long.

Your notes are delightful,
like music to the ear.
Never cease singing
so that all may hear.

Sing your song with exuberance
the rest of your life.
Sing to your Creator
with all of your might.

Sing on, lovely Robin.
Have your voice heard.
Let it rise to heaven’s
like no other bird.
